Drown Proof Waterer Base for Quart Jar for Game Chicks
This drown proof waterer base can be used with a plastic quart jar or glass mason jar. If ordering baby chicks through the mail it is important to have real warm water immediately on arrival. They will be real thirsty and this base does not allow the baby chicks to get into the water and get themselves damp and chilled and then sick. Recommend to use the first day and then switch over to a regular base the next day that has more ease of accessing the water. The base is also called a game bird base waterer because this is the type of waterer you want to use for several weeks with small game birds like quail and pheasants.
