Auto-Waterer Kit for Deck Brooder
Auto-Waterer Kit for Deck Brooder
The Auto-Waterer Kit for Deck Brooder is designed to help keep water available in your existing deck brooder troughs with less daily filling. This kit includes 5 floats connected by tubing to a pressure reducing valve.
To use the kit, place the floats in the existing troughs on your deck brooder, then connect the pressure reducing valve to a garden hose. Once installed correctly, the floats help control water flow into the troughs.
This kit is a practical upgrade for customers who want a more convenient watering setup for their brooder.
What Comes in the Kit?
The Auto-Waterer Kit for Deck Brooder includes:
5 floats
Tubing
Pressure reducing valve
Garden hose connection setup
Parts designed for use with existing deck brooder troughs
This kit is made to work with troughs already installed on a deck brooder.
How the Auto-Waterer Kit Works
The Auto-Waterer Kit uses floats placed inside the existing deck brooder troughs. The floats connect by tubing to a pressure reducing valve, which connects to a garden hose.
As water enters the system, the floats help manage the water level in the troughs. This can reduce the need for frequent manual refilling and help keep water more consistently available.
A proper setup can make brooder chores easier, especially when caring for a larger group of chicks or young poultry.
Designed for Deck Brooders
This kit is intended for use with a deck brooder that already has compatible troughs. The floats are placed directly into those existing troughs.
Before ordering, customers should make sure their brooder setup is suitable for this type of auto-watering system. The kit is not a stand-alone waterer by itself. It works with the troughs already on the brooder.
Connects to a Garden Hose
The pressure reducing valve connects to a garden hose. This helps regulate water pressure before water moves through the tubing and into the float system.
Because brooders and water pressure can vary, customers should watch the system carefully after installation. Check for leaks, proper float movement, correct water levels, and safe placement around chicks or young poultry.
Why Use an Auto-Waterer Kit?
An auto-waterer setup can make brooder management easier. Instead of filling every trough by hand throughout the day, customers can use the float system to help maintain water levels.
This kit may help with:
Reducing manual water refills
Keeping water more consistently available
Supporting larger brooder setups
Saving time during brooder chores
Upgrading existing deck brooder troughs
Making chick care more efficient
Even with an auto-waterer, customers should still check water often. Chicks and young poultry need clean, fresh water at all times.
Important Setup and Care Notes
After installing the Auto-Waterer Kit, monitor the brooder closely to make sure the system works correctly.
Check for:
Leaks
Kinked tubing
Correct float placement
Clean troughs
Proper water level
Safe garden hose connection
Stable pressure reducing valve connection
Wet bedding near the trough area
Young poultry can soil water quickly, so the troughs still need regular cleaning. An auto-waterer helps with refilling, but it does not replace daily brooder checks.
Brooder Supply Reminder
Brooder supplies should be ordered ahead of time so everything is ready before chicks arrive.
Chicks need a clean, warm, and organized brooder from the start. Water, feed, heat, bedding, and equipment should all be set up before the chicks are placed in the brooder.
This Auto-Waterer Kit can be a helpful part of that setup when used with compatible deck brooder troughs.
Is This Kit Right for You?
Choose the Auto-Waterer Kit for Deck Brooder if you want:
