Brite Tap Chicken Waterer
BriteTap® Chicken Nipple Waterer (Model 2)
Clean water made simpleTM
Most chicken waterers are easily contaminated when dirt and droppings fall into their open water pans. The new BriteTap® brand waterer completely shields your flock’s water supply from this contamination. The BriteTap waterer is fully covered and chickens drink from special valves on the left and right side of the waterer. It’s clean water made simple!
Supplies 16 chickens with water.
It can also water chicks over 2 weeks old, ducks, quail, guinea fowl, and rabbits.
Attaches to Igloo® and Rubbermaid® insulated beverage coolers or plastic containers you drill a hole into.
Benefits
- Keeps your chicken’s water sparkling clean.
- Less work for you since you don’t need to constantly clean the waterer of dirt and droppings.
- Super easy set up — attaches to Igloo® and Rubbermaid® insulated beverage coolers that act as a water supply tank. Just unscrew the cooler’s spigot and replace it with the BriteTap waterer.
- BPA Free
Why It’s Better Than Other Nipple Waterers
- Easier to set up.
- No drilling, cutting or gluing required. Just unscrew your coolers spigot and replace it with the BriteTap waterer.
- Keeps water cool in summer because the water is stored in an insulated beverage cooler.
- Nipples release water at a high flow rate so that your chickens get the water they need to stay healthy. This is particularly important for egg-laying breeds that require additional water.
- Easier for chickens to drink because the metal valve stem that releases water is longer than that on other valves. Therefore, the valve is more accessible and easy to peck.
Why It’s Better Than Traditional Metal and Plastic Waterers
- Keeps chicken’s water much cleaner.
- Reduces work required to constantly clean the waterer.
- Doesn’t rust or leach heavy metals like galvanized metal waterers.
- Keeps water cool in summer because the water is stored in an insulated beverage cooler.
Improvements versus the BriteTap Model 1
- New shape and rounded interior walls make it easier to clean with a bottle brush.
- Clean out plug on front is more durable and easier to remove and insert.
- Can be attached to containers with walls up to 1″ thick (21 mm)
- BPA Free
