Cherry Egger™ is a Cackle Hatchery genetic line of breeding that produces a nice large brown egg. The feather coloring is a dark cherry red and the hens are very docile and make for a good pet or hen house chicken. They get larger than most production type chickens so after 2 years of production they make for a good stew hen.
